Yes, and you should. The board doesn't replace your group text; it goes in it. Drop the link in the thread you already have, and people tap in, tentative or out instead of replying. The board keeps the count, so nobody has to scroll back through the thread to work out whether you have a court.

No, just the person who sets up the board. Everyone else opens the link for free, however big your pickleball group gets.
No accounts, no usernames, no sign-up emails. Your group shares one password. Each person types it the first time, then taps their name on the list.

No, on purpose. Getting a whole group to install something just to answer "are you coming Thursday?" is a lot to ask. The link works on any phone right away, and you can add it to your home screen if you want it to feel like an app.
Yes. Anyone on the board can propose a game, and they're counted in as the host. Anyone can call a game off. Only the person who proposed it can change the day, time, place or note, or delete it once it's called off.
Yes. The counter on the side of the board adds people up as answers come in and shows the moment you have a full court. It keeps counting past that, so an extra person shows up as the start of the next court instead of being turned away.
The person who set up the board can. Adding someone is just typing their first name. Removing someone takes them off the list but leaves their past games alone, so last month's night still adds up. Anyone can still bring a guest.
Tap the guest button; anyone can use it. The guest counts along with whoever is bringing them and doesn't need a name, password or spot on the roster.
No, and there's nowhere to put them. You share the board link yourself, in the group chat you already use. We never contact your friends. The only email we have is the board owner's, so we can send you the link and help with password resets. Everyone else is just a first name they typed in. We don't sell or share anything.
As long as the service runs. Nothing expires and there's nothing to renew. If a group goes 18 months without proposing a game, we email the board owner before anything gets archived. And if the service ever shuts down, you'd get 90 days' notice and a download of everything on your board.
